Survey Responses Lead to E-Bulletin Changes Earlier this year we asked you to complete a survey to give us feedback on our E-bulletin- how you read it, what you like, and what improvements we might make. We appreciate all the thoughtful responses we received. We took to heart what you said and today we introduce an updated E-bulletin format that we hope will provide an improved reading experience and easier access to the features on our website. These changes include a number of calendar-related items. "Upcoming Events and Special Services" replaces the full listing of all upcoming committee meetings, school days, etc. Those are easy to access on the website calendar from links just below this. "View Monthly Calendar" links directly to the full calendar. Many readers asked for a printed monthly calendar to put up on the refrigerator. "Print Monthly Calendar" links to a 1-page printable version that will hang beautifully on any fridge! We have also moved the links to website pages from the right-hand column to just below the section names in the body of the E-bulletin. This will make accessing web pages faster and more straightforward. We have a new Bulletin Board section in right-hand column where you can see if anything new is posted and easily link to that section. We hope you, our readers, find these changes improve your E-bulletin experience. We would like to know what you think about this update. Please let us hear from you- send your comments to the E-Bulletin Group. | |

Interfaith Thanksgiving Service- Monday, Nov.24 The DuPage Interfaith Resource Network Thanksgiving Service will be held on Monday, November 24th at 7:30 PM in the beautiful sanctuary of St. Procopius Abbey at the corner of Maple and College in Lisle. The service features broad participation from a wide range of religions including: Protestants, Buddhists, Catholics, Jews, Moslems, Zoroastrians, Sikhs, and B'hai. We hear the prayers of other religions, sung and chanted. The service is a wonderful way to begin the week of Thanksgiving. The warmth and diversity of the worshipping congregation expresses the promise of America. We respect our differences and appreciate that which binds us together. We proclaim a common message of thanks with our words and melodies of prayer.

Snow Day School Closing Information
We will no longer use a telephone "snow tree" to inform people about school closings this year. If there is a school closing, an email will be sent out before 7:00 AM on a Sunday morning to all families and before 2:00 PM on a Wednesday afternoon. In addition, it will be posted on the Etz Chaim website if school is closed.
If you do not have access to email at home, please let Anne Stein know and we will arrange for you to get a phone call.

We messed up our records of college adddress. Anyone who had sent in their child's college address needs to send it in again to the office so we can update our records. Please send them in by December 1st.
We are Updating Our Records Have you had a baby in the past three years? We will soon be publishing our new directory and want to make sure we have all of the children of our members in our data base.
